Meet Michael Meier

Michael Meier is not only a top producing real estate broker, but also a devoted husband and dad, innovator, entrepreneur, technology guru, and an award-winning marketing expert. With 16 years of real estate experience, Michael has created and operated a very successful luxury, boutique real estate firm as well as a top producing team at one of the world’s largest brokerages. The experience and knowledge he brings to the industry is unparalleled and unmatched across the board which has driven him to be a very sought-after public speaker in both public and national forums.

Michael was born and raised in Teaneck, NJ where he was the third child out of seven. From an early age, he would visit with his grandfather every Friday afternoon, who also lived in Teaneck, and the core principles of the MEIER family would be taught and exemplified. Michael’s family is full of achievers from doctors and lawyers to technology pioneers, and with his parents and many of his siblings still residing in the area. You may also find his father and sister running their private practice, Bergenfield Women’s Health, in Bergenfield, NJ. His roots run deep in Bergen County, as his mother grew up in the area and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and where he, himself, attended school in Paramus, attended local summer camps, and vacationed with his family along the Jersey Shore.

Taking control of his own story, Michael moved to NYC, and after graduating from Manhattan’s Sy Syms School of Business with a degree in finance, he began working for a software company. It wasn’t too long after that his passion for people and the relationships he developed drove him into the real estate world. Michael quickly made a name for himself as one of the leaders on the number one team at Douglas Elliman and opened up his own firm that became internationally recognized. His clients came to identify him as not only knowledgeable and data-driven but also by his outstanding customer service and white-glove experience.

With so many friends and family making the move between New York and New Jersey, Michael felt as if he had a responsibility to his clients to better serve their needs during their transition. After getting pregnant with their third child, Michael and his wife made the decision to move back home to Tenafly, NJ to raise their three amazing children and set down roots for their family. Michael now services both sides of the Hudson and has the ability to walk his clients through the selling and buying process from A-Z, as well as marketing his client’s properties to double the amount potential buyers.
