First built in 1908, 555 W. End Ave. is one of the most distinctive and colorful buildings on West End Avenue. Converted into large condominium apartments in 2018 by Cary Tamarkin and CL Investment Group, the landmark building offers condos with dramatic high ceilings starting at 12-feet high, central air conditioning, large windows, an in-unit washer and dryer and top-of-the-line features such as kitchens with Pietra Cardosa stone floors, solid white oak cabinetry by Christopher Peacock, polished Arabescato marble slab countertops and appliances by Miele, Wolf and Sub-Zero. These units can be snatched up as early as this summer and are selling at around $3,000 a foot.
